Junior coaching at Sydenham
Leamington League is this summer planning on organising some practice sessions for our Junior members. The sessions will be run by Mark Jackson of Flavels A, the current Division 1 Champions, and will be supported by the rest of his team, St Georges A (the runners-up in Division 1) and other Division 1 players.
The idea is to give as many Junior members as possible the chance to practice with some of the town's stronger players and improve their games. The sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings in the small gym at Sydenham Sports Centre, Campion School. They will start at 18:45 and finish at 20:45.
The first session is due to be held on Tuesday 10th July 2007 and they will continue for eight weeks, ending on Tuesday 28th August 2007. Each session will cost £4 per person, but if you are able to commit to all eight sessions and pay up-front you will only be charged a total of £28.
Players should note that they are expected to wear shorts for these sessions and no white shirts are allowed. It is also advisable for players to bring a drink with them, which should be in a spill -proof container.
